We are proud to share the recent contribution of four peer-reviewed publications our researchers have made. Prof Dorrington appeared as last author on a Literature Review, published in Chemical Society Review, which addresses the challenges of finding antivirals for agents that may lead to the next pandemic. She also co-authored an article in Marine Drugs, which shares the Group’s discoveries related to secondary metabolite production by a marine sponge species. Prof Paul Race and his research team published two articles, the first published in Marine Drugs that shares the discovery of a new deep-sea sponge that displays antibiotic activity. The second is published in Antibiotics and describes the Bristol Sponge Microbiome Collection.
